The Napoleon

I call these The Napoleons because they remind me of Napoleon, I don't really know why, but that is the name that popped into my mind as I was creating them and it has stuck!
The Napoleons are made up of a large rosette badge with a fan of net and one or two feathers and a center of large pearls.

The Napoleons are larger than a one piece rosette with net.  They are about the same size as a Thee Piece Rosette Demi without feathers.

Miss Moss Demi-Millinery at Garden Home

Great news!

The Miss Moss Demi-Millinery managed to get a booth at the Garden Home craft fair  An Old Fashioned Holiday.  I have been to this show before and it is so fun; 130 plus vendors, Breakfast with Santa , lunch, music, the Dickens Carolers and a book sale.  The Garden Home show is big enough to find anything you want but small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed.

Please drop by and say "Hello."
This will be the only other show that The Demi-Millinery will be at this year as Christmas is approaching and Miss Moss plans to celebrate many traditions with her family.  Don't miss the fun!

3 Piece Demi with Feathers

I thought it would be nice to highlight the different styles of hair ornaments available from the Miss Moss Demi-Millinery.

The 3 piece rosette demi with feathers generally  includes a fan of Russian net, 2-3 feathers and pearl beads for a center. They are often slightly larger in total size than the 3 piece rosette demis with no feathers.
I think that the 3 Piece demi's are a really great piece with or without the feathers because they are small enough to wear everyday but definitely make a statement for occasions when one wants to be noticed.

Boutique at the Barn Recap

The Boutique at the Barn did really well, I can't wait until next year.  It was a COLD day and the vendors and customers were very chilly (Nicole is looking into heating options for 2011.)  The temperature didn't seem to stop people from buying hair ornaments however; customers bought everything from the tiny Bobby Pins to very grand silk flower hair arrangements complete with birdcage veil.
Maybe you are reading this post because you saw The Demi-Millinery booth at the barn.
Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it.
THANK YOU!

Focus.

Things are coming together for the show this weekend, I have so many wonderful ornaments for sale and a handful of other items as well.

We are currently having printer difficulties which I hope get cleared up soon so I can print out hundreds of cards, labels and bags.

Each night I pray that my fingers will fly as they sew.

Also the photos are in from Tia at Snips and Snails Photography and they look great.  Hopefully I will have time to get them on the site before the craft show.

Thanks Tia!
